National OST Program Director Survey on OST STEM Workforce – Building Evidence!
How can afterschool and summer programs effectively recruit, train and retain a skilled out-of-school time (OST) staff capable of delivering high-quality STEM activities? National Institute on Out-of-School Time (NIOST) at Wellesley College with support from the Overdeck Family Foundation and in partnership with the National Afterschool Association are on a mission to find out—and they need your help!
You are invited to participate in this important survey aimed at gathering insights from OST program directors across the country. Your experiences and expertise are crucial in shaping a deeper understanding of how to attract, prepare and support OST staff in delivering impactful STEM learning experiences. By contributing your voice, you’ll be playing a vital role in advancing the field of STEM education in out-of-school time settings.
To show our appreciation for your time and input, they are holding a weekly raffle for a $25 gift card for survey participants. This is your chance to share your perspectives and potentially win a little something extra!
Please share this survey widely with other OST program directors and colleagues. Your participation will help inform best practices and innovative solutions that will benefit OST programs, educators, and—most importantly—the youth they serve. Let’s work together to build a stronger, more effective OST STEM workforce!
